Tenebrae
Every year in the week before Easter (Holy Week) a sequence of music and readings, called Tenebrae, is held at St Barnabas. This tells a story, or illuminates a theme, associated with the story leading up to Christ's death and charts a path from light to darkness with candles gradually being extinguished during the one hour meditation.
The Cherry Fair
Every year on a Saturday in June or July we hold a summer fair. There are a number of stalls selling gifts as well as a tombola. There are also refreshments. Details of when this is will be posted on the diary section.
